Customer Reviews
Woohoo!!
It was starting to get a little scary there after two years of waiting for Season 5...Just give us a hint that Season 6 will see the light of day, and possibly, a complete series set and there'll be a lot of happy campers out there!
Truly, one show that can be viewed many times over and you'll laugh every time...
Reba has been one of the most consistently funny sitcoms I have ever had the pleasure of watching!!!
Enjoy!!
Another great season
Amazingly, the writers managed to capture everything entertaining about the previous seasons and take it all even further, without rehash or boredom.
Episode Descriptions:
"Where There's Smoke" - Reba takes one of Cheyenne's anti-alcohol pills, and Cheyenne and Van have to keep Reba away from the champagne at an important dinner.

"No Good Deed" - When Reba and Jake take in a stray dog that survived Hurricane Katrina. Barbra Jean heads up the "Save the Dog" campaign and turns her house into a shelter for lost pets.
"Best Li'l Haunted House in Texas" - Reba's Halloween plans are thrown off course because everyone else is too busy. Van is jealous when Cheyenne starts spending time with her handsome sponsor, Frank.
"Have Your Cake" - Barbra Jean starts eating too much and gaining a lot of weight. Brock consults Reba for help with the delicate situation.
"Grannies Gone Wild" - Cheyenne declines Brock's offer to intern at his dental office to give makeovers. Barbra Jean annoys a judge.
"Invasion" - Barbra Jean leaves town to visit her brother. The episode focuses on BJ's brother, who mistakenly shows up on Reba's doorstep expecting to spend the holiday with his sister.

"Don't Mess with Taxes" - Brock informs Reba that the IRS is going to audit the last five years of their marriage. Cheyenne makes Van take part in her sociology project about a man's perspective on marriage.
"The Goodbye Guy" - Brock decides the only way he can pay off a huge debt is by selling his house and moving to Las Vegas.

The show is great - the DVD release is shocking
I've been looking forward to this one for a long while, but what a disappointment.
Season 5 of Reba was broadcast in widescreen, but the episodes are presented here in 4:3 - that is inexcusable. Add to that the squeezing of 22 episodes onto 2 discs. The discs are double-sided, with seven episodes on one side and four on the other. The picture quality on the seven-episode sides is dreadful. The set itself consists of the two discs and a flyer - no episode guide at all.
Fox really shouldn't have bothered if this is the best they can do. I'll stick with watching the broadcast versions I have.
